An application is the normal way to request to attend the Walk to Emmaus within the Greater Columbus Emmaus Community.  The application has two parts.  One is filled out by the sponsor and the other by the pilgrim.  A sponsor is a person who has already attended the Walk to Emmaus, is familiar with and committed to performing the responsibilities of the sponsor, and agrees to sponsor the pilgrim.  The pilgrim is a Christian who has not previously attended a Walk to Emmaus walk and wants to attend.

  • The Pilgrim's part of the application goes to their sponsor.
  • The Sponsor's takes both parts of the application, verifies they are complete and accurate, and sends them to the registrar by following the instructions on the Sponsor's part of the application.
  • If a person wants to attend The Walk to Emmaus but does not have a sponsor, they may request the community's assistance finding a sponsor.  One way to do this is to fill out the pilgrim's portion of the application and send it to the registrar, Anita Shawler, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
